Non-Degree Admissions Requirements

The following are the minimum admission requirements to take courses as a non-degree seeking student in the program:

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent
• An upper-division GPA of at least 2.0 (Grade C) or better. Calculate your upper-division (also called last 60 credits) GPA using this form: http://www.admissions.ufl.edu/pdf/worksheet.pdf

If your bachelor’s or graduate degrees were earned in the United States, please request that official, original transcripts in individually sealed envelopes from every school you’ve attended since high school be sent to the University of Florida at:

Coursework from another university cannot be accepted for credit toward the certificate. Up to 6 credits taken at UF as a non-degree seeking student can be transferred toward the certificate if the following conditions are met:

• The coursework taken before the student is admitted to the certificate status must be part of the required program of study for the Graduate Certificate in Addiction and Recovery.
• The student must have earned a final grade of at least a B in all courses taken.

Application Process

• Under the “Apply” tab of the website, select the “Non-Degree” application and follow all of the instructions carefully, completing all sections.
• Submit all required documentation/supplemental application materials on or before the published deadline.
